Pastor Reginald C. Goodman, a native of Los Angeles, California, is the beloved pastor of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church of Fresno, CA. He is the only child of Judy Moore and Kenneth Goodman. At an early age, he accepted Christ and was baptized at The Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Los Angeles, under the leadership of the late Dr. E.V. Hill.
Answering the call to ministry, Pastor Goodman was licensed and ordained to preach the gospel at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church of Fresno by the late Dr. Richard L. Daniels. Over the years, he has faithfully served in multiple roles including youth pastor, pastoral assistant, and now pastor, with a ministry deeply rooted in the belief that Christ is the head of the church.
Pastor Goodman’s academic journey reflects his passion for both ministry and leadership. A graduate of Duke Ellington High School, he continued his studies at McEd Career College, majoring in Business Administration. He later pursued Christian education at The Master’s College, majoring in Christian Ministries, before earning a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from Emmanuel Bible College and Seminary. His commitment to lifelong learning led him to obtain a master’s degree from The Bible Based School of Theology.
Throughout his pastoral journey, Pastor Goodman has been a steadfast servant of God, dedicated to teaching and preaching the Word with clarity, conviction, and compassion. His guiding scripture is Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”
Beyond his ministry, Pastor Goodman has been richly blessed in his personal life. He is married to Tyeisha Goodman, and together they are the proud parents of four children: Sha’Maya, Modesty, Indica, and Reginald C. Goodman II.
With a heart for God’s people and a vision for Kingdom building, Pastor Goodman continues to inspire, encourage, and equip others to grow in their faith and walk with Christ.
